Times have changed and there is so much happening all around us everyday. Holidays have changed as well. No more getting up early on Friday after thanksgiving to line up for deep discounts. Buy things online days ahead on sale.

Stores are no longer closed on this day. Some remain open all day long and some open in the evening to attract early shoppers. It’s all good. Competition drives this and it’s good for the consumers.

Families get together and eat and catch up on weeks or months of separation. It’s good time for everyone – all are supposed to behave. There are stories of misgivings and all, but that happens all year around. Not just on thanksgiving.
